CZ 175 SCOOTER, 1957—60

It was nicknamed ‘The Pig’ due to the shape of its front, like a snout, although it was also referred to as ‘The Submarine’… The comfortable seat allowed girls to ride side-saddle on the back, and the gear lever, shaped like a rocker, was designed to be used with the heel so that gentlemen wouldn’t scuff their suede shoes. In the sixties the New Zealand police were equipped with this bizarre vehicle!
